The Youth Arts in the Parks Nature Festival at Grandview in New River Gorge National River is scheduled for April 19 and 20, 2016. This FREE festival is open to middle school students in grades 6 - 8 from public, private, and home schools in Fayette, Nicholas, Raleigh, and Summers counties. Students will discover more about Appalachian ecology and parks through activity stations based in the arts, science, and English.
Festival registration deadline is: April 12, 2016. Festival poster
and registration form. Schools will be selected on a first-to-register basis. A mileage stipend is available to participating schools to offset trip travel expenses.
