Very excited to take part in the 2nd Good News Fayette County Community Meeting, Virtual Edition!
At last year's in person event, there were over 20 people sharing their unique good news stories, and it was clear that Fayette County has too much good work to be ignored!
Examples from last year include Project Adventure hosted by the Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Committee at the Fayette County Park, as well as information on a grant awarded to the American Federation of Teachers for books in their classrooms.
Join your community members in celebrating the creators, innovators, facilitators right here in your back yard and learn how you can get involved.
Are you leading a new initiative, is your organization serving our community in some way, offering new opportunities for community well being and development? We could all use some good news right now. So share yours! Good News presentations must be beneficial to the citizens of the county, non political, not a business advertisement, and last no more than two minutes in length.
