Gnomevember in Fayetteville

The gnomes are back to take over Fayetteville this Gnomevember! Embark on a scavenger hunt to track down Fayetteville’s gnomes from Nov. 6-30. These magical beings will be hiding throughout town. Stop by the visitor center for your gnome tracking sheet and start your adventure to see how many you can find. Turn in your tracking sheet at the visitor center for a small prize. Look at the gnomes closely.  Find the grand prize gnome on November 30th to claim your prize. This gnome will come with instructions to claim the grand prize of Gnomevember.

How to join in the fun?

1. Stop by the Fayetteville Visitor Center and grab a gnome scavenger hunt checklist. Check the Brochure rack on porch for scavenger hunt checklist outside of business hours.
2. Start looking for gnomes.
3. Find a gnome and write down its location on the list. You only need to find 12 gnomes to complete the scavenger hunt. Many gnomes are located outside downtown, but they can also be hidden in business. Gnomes in businesses will be in clear sight. You do not need to move or look under things to discover a gnome.
4. Bring completed sheet back to Fayetteville Visitor Center to claim a small prize.

Gnome Contest for Businesses and Residents:

Fayetteville has a couple of gnome makers who inspired this event. Get creative and make your own gnome out of any material or upcycle an old gnome.  Take a photo of your gnome, proudly display it. Send gnome photo to info@visitfayettevillewv.com along with its location. Gnomes must be submitted by 21st.
