Sunday, July 27 • 11 AM – 3 PM • Fayette County Park, Shelter 4
Fire up the grills, let the kids loose on the open lawn, and celebrate another year of keeping our corner of Appalachia a little cleaner.

11:00 AM — Swap zones open for clothing, plants, and clean, working outdoor gear
12:00 PM — Five-minute “State of Bud’s” toast plus volunteer shout-outs
12:15–2:00 PM — Activity stations nonstop: iron-on patch bar, bottle-cap mosaic, pollinator-hotel crafts, ring toss, and more (perfect for kids who like to make—or break—things)
2:15 PM — Last call for the swap; leftovers packed for donation
2:30 PM — Hubcap trophy awards for cornhole champs, relay champs, and best thrift fit
3:00 PM — Group photo, quick clean-up, then an optional downtown soda/beer stop for grown-ups who want to keep hanging out

We’re grilling burgers, hot dogs, and veggie patties. Bring a potluck side (pasta salad, slaw, watermelon, or chips) and a reusable cup or bottle. Water, iced tea, and lemonade provided. Clearly labeled veggie and gluten-free options; a separate grill zone and tongs keep everything friendly for all diets.

• Potluck side dish
• Reusable cup or bottle
• Swap items: clean clothes, potted starts, or working outdoor gear
• Sunscreen, lawn chair, cornhole swagger

Want to help with grilling, swap wrangling, or activity tables? Add your name to the Google form we’ll post in the Discussion. Local businesses can sponsor $150 for logo placement on event signage—message the host to claim a spot.

Shelter 4 is shaded and has power, water, and accessible restrooms nearby. County Park rules: no pets and no alcohol on site—so we’ll migrate to a downtown beer stop after 3 PM for those interested.
Pack up the kiddos, your swap treasures, and your best thrift-store outfit—we’ll see you under the shelter!
