Nature can be a great inspiration! Now is the time for local students to celebrate nature and use their creativity to craft an entry for the Youth Arts in the Parks 2017 Appalachian Spring Wildflower Art Contest. The contest entry deadline is almost here.
Contest Rules: This art contest is open to all K – 12 grade students of Fayette, Nicholas, Raleigh, and Summers Counties. Youth can enter art through their school or independently. Entry Time and Awards: Entries must be hand delivered to a contest art receiving station between February 1 – 7, 2017. Entries juried into this exhibit will be showcased at an April 2017 art display at Tamarack in Beckley and online. Contest winners will receive art supply awards at a special ceremony.
