DESCRIPTION:Town of Pax\n\nIndependence Day Celebration\n\nSaturday\, July 2\, 2016\n\nSchedule of Events\n\n11:00-noon            ...Pie Contest (Entries at this time\, \n\nwinner announced later)\n\n1:00 pm              Parade (starting at Long Branch \n\nMethodist Church)\n\n2:00- 4:00 pm..............................................Cookout @ Humphrey Park (as long as\n\nfood lasts)\n\n2:30 pm              Horseshoe Contest\n\n5:00 pm              Bingo \n\n9:00 pm              Fireworks\n\nKids and other games available throughout the day prize awards!\n\nPie Contest Contestants must have names entered prior to July 1\, 2016 at 4:00 pm. Contestant pies must be entered during the above stated time. Pie must be covered and not visible upon entry\, must have name on a card attached face up on the bottom of the pie plate making it not visible to anyone until a winner is declared. Failure to perform these requirements will result in a disqualification.\n\nCookout is for only 2 hours. Hot Dogs\, chips\, cookies\, and a drink. At 4 pm tickets for food will no longer be issued.\n\nHorseshoe Contest contestants please register for the contest prior to July 1\, 2016 at 3 pm. So that we may get brackets ready. 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place prizes awarded.\n\nBingo will begin at the above stated time in the Pic-Nic shelter. Prizes awarded to those who BINGO! Only 3 wins per person. Different games offered. Winners round will be for a choice of 3 prizes. \n\nCheck rules for all contests!!!\n\nContact Town Hall 304-877-2407 to enter Pie Contest and Horseshoe Contest.
