DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun evening at our upcoming second annual live painting fundraiser - The Showdown! Come on out to The Freefolk Brewery in Hico for a night of live painting\, music\, vendors and an auction. All artwork created during the event will be up for auction for 1 month following the event.\n\nThe Showdown will feature a multi-round competition\, with 14 West Virginia artists working in front of an audience to create their masterpiece. Attendees will vote to determine who advances from round to round. Each round will last 40 minutes.\n\nCome on out to watch fellow local artists and artists across the state in friendly competition while the audience cast their votes and cheer them on! Tickets by donation\, kids are free! Suggested donation is $10 at the door or Venmo @lovehopearts\n\nThe purpose of this event is to support the arts & artists of the New River Gorge region. All proceeds will go towards Love Hope Center for the Arts and participating artists.\n\nLove Hope Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers a variety of classes\, studio space and events as well as unique exhibit space in Fayetteville\, West Virginia.\n\nOur mission is to fuel artistic passion in West Virginia through community-driven art programs\, nurturing local talent\, and fostering connections that embody love\, hope\, and cultural richness in our vibrant Appalachian home.
