DESCRIPTION:This is our official invitation for you to join in on the fun with the City of Oak Hill and our 2024 Annual Christmas Parade. If you have participated in the past\, we thank you! If you haven't or if it has been a while\, then we would love to have you join us in making our 2024 one of the best yet!\n\nThe theme for this year's parade is "What Does Christmas Mean to You". So\, get busy coming up with a way to let us know just what Christmas means to you!\n\nAs always\, there will be First\, Second and Third Place prizes. Entries will be judged on adherence to the theme of the parade\, originality and overall appearance. Award presentation information will be provided to you at lineup time along with any rules.\n\nThe parade lineup will be at the Highlawn Cemetery and it will be in the order that you arrive. You will receive a number but the number is for judging purposes only. Lineup will begin at 5:00 p.m. with parade beginning at 6:00 p.m. During the parade we request that no one stops to perform. Although everyone enjoys a performance no one likes when a gap happens in a parade. If you do have a performance please keep moving as you perform.\n\nThe City of Oak Hill tries to make the Christmas Parade an enjoyable experience for everyone but we realize that it is the participants that make the parade so we do appreciate each one of you very much!
