SUMMARY:Fayetteville Merchants Mix & Match
DESCRIPTION:The Fayetteville Merchants Association is comprised of our downtown merchants who all share the common goal of promoting our Coolest Small Town as much as possible. We consider ourselves to be cohesive\, complementary businesses and we respect and care about each other and the best interests of our businesses and our community. We are our own best concierge service\, and we work hard to drive business amongst ourselves. \n\nThe Merchants Mix & Match is a recurring event that happens on the last Thursday of every month from 5pm-8pm. It involves a restaurant and retail business being randomly paired up and "trading spaces" for the evening. That can mean anything from setting up a display\, having a representative on site\, handing out samples\, etc. It's up to each merchant pairing to decide what works for them. Many of the merchants plan additional activities for that evening such as live music and pop up shops. \n \n\nEach merchant who participates does their own social media marketing\, which is picked up and consolidated by the Fayetteville CVB on their Facebook page (Visit Fayetteville WV - Fayetteville CVB.)\n \n\nThis month's event will take place on September 28 - some events to note are:\n \n\nMost of the events are concentrated in the center of town focusing on Waterstone\, Cathedral\, and Twisted Gypsies for the main events.\n\nThere will be pumpkins and fall items set up for sale\, kids activities\, face painting. We will have several artists set up throughout town.\n\nIt will be raining bubbles from Waterstone. The Fayetteville Arts Coalition will have a Creative Juices Class during the Mix & Match as well.
