DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, April 26\, 2016 \n\n5:30pm - 8:30pm at Tamarack. \n\n \n\nCome and show your support for this year?s Champions of Children. Just For Kids Child Advocacy Center will honor individuals from each of the three counties we serve who exemplify what it means to be a Champion of Children. We request your presence to show these individuals the recognition they truly deserve.\n\n \n\nThis year?s recipients are: \n\nRobin Holland\, Fayette County Probation Officer and former Child Protective Services worker. Teresa Blankenship\, Wyoming County Child Protective Services worker. Corporal Jeff Cook\, WV State Police Crimes Against Children Unit.\n\n \n\nWe will also recognize R. Booth Goodwin\, II\, former United States Attorney for the Southern District of WV. Booth?s commitment to children has been evidenced with his leadership role in launching the Handle With Care program in public schools\, the formation of the WV Center for Children?s Justice and his work with Child Advocacy Centers across the state. We honor his relentless pursuit of justice for ALL children in WV.\n\n \n\nAll proceeds from the event will support the essential work of Just For Kids Child Advocacy Center. Our services are free of charge to the children and families who have been traumatized by child sexual abuse\, criminal abuse and witnesses to crimes. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.\n\n \n\nTICKETS - $50 general public\; $25 for Social Service and First Responder Professionals\; Kids 12 and under free \n\n \nJust for Kids\, Inc.\, 129 Main St.\, Ste. 406\, Beckley\, WV 25801.
