Mr. Woodson spent his young adult years in West Virginia as a railroad worker\, coal miner\, teacher\, principal and professor. Through Mr. Jordan's performance you will discover what brought Mr. Woodson to Fayette County and the New River Gorge. Observe Mr. Jordan transition from Carter Woodson the coal miner to Carter Woodson Harvard University doctorate graduate. Mr. Jordan is co-founder and director of the African American Heritage Family Tree Museum and was the recipient of a Martin Luther King Jr. Living the Dream Award- issues by the Martin Luther King Jr. West Virginia Holiday Commission. Performance will be held in the Lodge conference room. EXTRA!
