This is a fundraiser to support the United Way of Southern West Virginia\, which serves 7 counties including Raleigh\, Fayette\, Nicholas\, Summers\, Mercer\, McDowell and Wyoming Counties + the town of Bluefield\, VA. For just $50 - yes\, just $50 - you can experience the magic of the New River Gorge while supporting an amazing cause. Sponsor a raft (9 tickets) for $400 - buy 8 tickets\, and get 1 ticket free!\n\n\n\nYour ticket includes a half day (2-3 hour) Express Rafting Trip on the New River guided by River Expeditions. After the trip\, we will be hosting an evening reception to include local food and drinks (including craft beer selections)\, raffles\, and LIVE music by the one and only Matt Mullins. Your $50 ticket entitles you to attend this reception AND two drink tokens good for selected beers or soft drinks. If you are unable to participate in the rafting trip\, tickets are available to be purchased for the reception only for $20/person. \n\n\n\nParticipants must be 12 years of age in order to raft. All participants will be required to fill out required releases and forms as indicated by River Expeditions the day of the trip.\n\n\n\nOn the day of the event\, individuals must arrive by 1pm to register and get outfitted. Rafters will return in the afternoon\, with the reception beginning at 5:30pm. \n\n\n\nTo make reservations over the phone\, call United Way of Southern West Virginia at 304-253-2111.
