Hike 3.2 miles (round trip) on the Long Point Trail with a National Park Service ranger and a community captain from Active Southern West Virginia to #OptOutside on Black Friday. This easy to moderate trail leads to one of the best views of the gorge and New River Gorge Bridge\, a nice scenic spot to celebrate Thanksgiving week. Be prepared for a short\, steep section of trail near Long Point. Wear hiking shoes and be prepared for anticipated weather conditions. Meet at the Long Point trailhead off Gatewood Road near Fayetteville at 10:00 am.
