DESCRIPTION:The holidays are fast approaching and Christmas will be here before we know it! What better way to begin the holiday season than to join the City of Oak Hill in their annual Christmas Parade!! The theme this year is "Christmas Dreamin'". It has been a different way of life for the past year or so but we can still find something to put a smile on a child's face (or even a grown up's face)\, so let's give this parade our very best shot!\n\nThe 2021 Christmas parade will be held Saturday\, December 11th at 1:00 p.m. Lineup will be at the Highlawn Cemetery beginning at 12:00 noon with the parade leaving the cemetery at 1:00 p.m.\n\nLine up follows in the order that you arrive\, numbers will be given out for judging purposes only. With all the excitement and only one way in and out we ask that if your group doesn't arrive all together please designate someone to wait at the entrance gate to guide them to where your group is at. If a vehicle\, etc. is NOT in the parade but is dropping off participants please try to let them out at the entry gate as it can get very congested once inside.\n\nDuring the parade it is requested that no one stops to perform. Although everyone enjoys a performance no one likes when a gap happens during a parade. If you can perform and move at the same time that would be wonderful!\n\nA response form is enclosed / attached for your convenience which you may email to scoffman@oakhillwv.gov\, fax to 304-469-2801 or drop off at City Hall\, 100 Kelly Avenue by Thursday\, December 9\, 2021.
